Kelly Tims Bailey was born and raised in Sugartown Louisiana. She graduated from East Beauregard High School. After graduating she married her high school sweetheart Greg Bailey on April 13, 1996. They have two wonderful children Justin and Josey Bailey. She and her family are proud to call DryCreek, Louisiana their home.
Before the October 12th, 2019 election she was employed at the Beauregard Parish Police Jury office for nearly nine years. She resigned in March 2019 leaving behind a job she loved as Public Works Clerk. She believes her experience working with the public and her fellow employees will give her the balance needed to serve her District and Parish fairly and honestly. She is simply a wife, mother, and citizen who has a true passion for District #5 and our great parish.
Her goals are simple. Listen, learn and be accountable for the many decisions she will make serving as Police Juror District #5. Kelly’s passion for her community will allow her to be transparent in aiding her District and Parish to a better and clearer understanding of their local government officials and the duties they hold.
She hopes to make District #5 proud enough to gain her trust and respect as she begins her journey in 2020.
Making a difference in your Parish only requires heart and passion and she believes she has both.
