Rusty Williamson,
District 2 

N. R. "Rusty" Williamson was born October 10, 1948 in El Campo, Texas to a family of early settlers of Beauregard Parish. 
 
After graduating from high school, he attended Northwestern State University. He married his loving, supportive wife Connie (Sissy) and they were married over forty-four years.  
 
Mr. Williamson worked for Boise Cascade 39 years as a senior "A" Operator in the Power Plant and retired in October of 2010.  
In January 1992-1998 and again in 2004-2005. He was the first President elected in non-consecutive terms. He also served as Vice-President in 1996 ,2002 and 2003. During his presidency, the Covered Arena came into being. Also, the Annex Building and the new Police Jury complex were constructed.  

During his Presidency, the following came to be: Each ward represented on courthouse steps; Pictures of past and present jurors hanging on the wall at the Police Jury Office; Designed Parish Flag with Betty Cunningham; Arranged to have a map of the parish painted on the wall in the Police Jury meeting room.  
 
While being a Police Juror, over 125 miles of roads in Road District #2 have been hard surfaced.  
 
He served on Police Jury state committees for agriculture, roads, and criminal justice. He also serves on a National Committee on Public Lands.
